Percentages and chest counts are our math from Epic's rates for the Fortnite treasure chest rewards. Before Nov 7 there were no official Fortnite odds or Fortnite drop rates for treasure, only player guesses. Players also search for this list as Fortnite Treasure Hunters chest rewards, treasure chest rewards chances or Fortnite treasure odds; they're all the same Fortnite treasure rewards. "Not listed" means Epic didn't name a boost for that treasure. Pirate Shop Access odds for squads have their own page: Pirate Token odds.

Treasure Hours odds: which Fortnite treasure chest rewards get boosted?

Three Fortnite treasure chest rewards get a Treasure Hours boost: the Weekly Gold Outfit (7.5× in the first Nov 7 session, 10× announced for 9–11 PM ET), Pirate Shop Access (1.5×, then 2.0× announced) and the Weekly Vehicle & Decal (10×). Epic listed no boost for the other Fortnite treasure chest rewards and says later Treasure Hours may go higher. Saturday session times in your time zone are on the Fortnite Power Hour page.

This week's Fortnite treasure chest rewards

The weekly Fortnite treasure chest rewards follow the Captain: everything marked "Weekly" changes when a new Captain arrives, which Fortnite Status says happens on Sundays. Dataminer ShiinaBR found the first two weeks' Fortnite treasure chest rewards in the game files, as reported by VICE on Nov 2. The week 2 outfit was still encrypted then, so check the names in game. Epic's in-game news on Nov 8 confirmed the switch: "A new Captain has sailed in!" Lil Uzi Vert is this week's Boss, dropping Lil' Uzi Vert Jr. and Lil Uzi Vert's Lil' SMG.

In every week's Fortnite treasure chest rewards, the same list adds Pirate Shop Access (one window for 2026 and one for 2027) and five Gizmos: the Golden Firework, Lucky Locator, Portable Extractor, Sprite Locator and Extraction Accelerator. That's why the Gizmo row is the one you hit most often: at 1 in 127 per chest, Gizmos are the commonest Fortnite treasure chest rewards and the only ones that repeat. Pirate Shop Access stays in the Fortnite chest rewards pool every week.

When do the Fortnite treasure chest rewards end?

With Treasure Hunters, which is expected to wrap up around Dec 5, 2026; Epic has asked players to keep that Saturday open for the Chapter 7 end event. Until then the Fortnite treasure chest rewards keep rolling in every chest, with a new weekly set for each new Captain.

What are the Fortnite Gold Outfit odds?

1 in 1,562,500 per chest in a normal match, the longest Gold Outfit odds of all the Fortnite treasure chest rewards and about 11 times rarer than Pirate Shop Access. The week's gold skin (Solid Gold A$AP Rocky in week 1) takes about 1.08 million chests for an even chance. Treasure Hours boosted it 7.5× in the first Nov 7 session, and Epic announced 10× for the 9 to 11 PM ET session, which is still 1 in 156,250 per chest.

What are the Fortnite treasure odds during Treasure Hours?

Epic boosted three of the Fortnite treasure chest rewards: the Weekly Gold Outfit 7.5× (10× announced for the Nov 7, 9 to 11 PM ET session), Pirate Shop Access 1.5× (2.0× announced for that session) and the Weekly Vehicle & Decal 10×. Epic didn't list a boost for the other chest rewards.

No, except Gizmos. Epic says: "Other than Gizmos, you can't get the same treasure twice." The weekly rewards change every week, so each week's set of Fortnite treasure chest rewards is a new roll.

Do drop rates change during the day in Fortnite?

No. Epic says the Fortnite treasure chest drop rates have been constant since the season launched and don't vary through the day, except during Treasure Hours.

How many chests does it take to get a Gizmo?

The Gizmo drop rate is 1 in 127 per chest, the most common of the Fortnite treasure chest rewards, so about 88 chests give an even chance of at least one. Gizmos are the only treasure you can find more than once.

Does breaking a chest count for Fortnite treasure chest rewards?

Epic hasn't said. Its odds for the Fortnite treasure chest rewards are for every time you open a chest in a normal match; it didn't cover breaking chests that are already open, or other containers.
